Excelsior

I thought it would be cool if there was an item that had a menu with all the songs from the game. i like the tokuno music but i cant hear it when im somewhere like my house. i like to relax in my house a lot and i thought it would be neat to hear the music from other places. what do you guys think about this idea?

actuly such an item is already made some years ago on retail UO

Now to get it here. I have never seen it on a runuo shard.... I am sure however that a script is possible.

ive no idea how hard it is to code stuff like this.

first the token (looks likea shield).
then a menu for the rewards (after dbl clicking token).

Looking up the information about "dawns music box" has shown that you had to collect the songs as drop items from monsters. this sounds like its a little more intricate than just a jukebox full of songs. it sounds fun for sure but i think coding would be difficult. you would have to decide where you wanted songs to drop and how often on top of all the music box coding itsself.

however, there are also endless possibilities to be considered. and empty music box could be a carpentry craftable and songs could be dropped off monsters, crafted by bards, or bought for tokens ect. a full music box could be bought for ED or tokens. those are just a few ideas floating around my head that could make a music box add uniqueness to the shard. The shard is already unique in its way that tamers are able to craft and perform many useful duties. itd be interesting to see bard crafted songs : D

bard songs are TTHHEEEEE bessttt!! my brother knows a few bard songs on guitar an maannn, words cannot explain how sweet it sounds hearing it live from a guy who got tabs off the internet an self taught himself haha... good thinking!

my friend adam is a very good guitar player and hes played them for me before. it does sound really crazy to hear them : D

not a bad idea at all to have this implemented..

being able to choose what you listen to would be pretty nifty.. ^.^
