PVP on the shard

We should implement pvp on the shard........ LoL ok only joking!
Just had a thought and feel free to shoot me down for it.
I have in mind something like a pvp league. Now obviously there is a fair spread of players from the anarchy'd and rossi'd to the newer players. So straight up 1v1 Pvp is prolly a waste of time. Same can be said about guilds. Your lmc's vs say your lowlie wolfpack.
So I'm thinking get a collection of souls who are interested in such things then rank them based on a round of PVP. Then form up into groups based on those rankings. So for example if we get 20 interested parties we can split into 4 5 players teams. Rank 1,5,10,15,20 as one group. (not specific just as a base for thought). Then we can have weekly 5v5 pvp or 3v3 whatever the case may be.
Only reason I suggest this, I miss PVP battles where are participants were willing and it was a 10 on 10 battle royale! I don't miss the forum flamming, insults and para ganking. Maybe by taking the guild aspect out we can reduce the guild flamming that might occur. If we can get a group of players who understand it is just for fun, might turn out to be just that.
