I'm a big fan of +V's experiments to give us some definitive answers on some interesting topics, such as damage increase effectiveness, and the more recent spell damage increase test.

If you're reading this +V I (and I'm sure everyone else) would greatly appreciate if you tested the whole parrying situation out, so we can clear this up once and for all...

I'm talking about the combinations of Parry (cap of 130), Bushido (cap of 120), one handed weapon, two handed weapon and 1 handed weapon + shield.

The reason I am particularly interested is that lately I've heard allot of people say they tested the situation themselves and their answers contradict what I was told about 3 months ago by a member off staff (not sure who, might have been +Hina but I can't be sure.

WE NEED YOUR HELP +VERITAS!!!

cheers.
I was told that Parry + Bushido AND a shield does not give any negetive effects (which not only stratistics, but player based tests have revield)

I'm sure I can find some time tomorrow or Sunday to test this...

just want to make sure you know that parry occurs when a white dot flashes on you :) otherwise just misses. might take a slightly larger than normal sample size to test

Yeah...might have to take a 3-5 minute sample for each variable change...count each successful parry . =/

doesnt this also occure when a piece of armor / weapon looses a point of durability?
