I'm sure alot of you know there are certain items such as ravanous shield of endurence, and Titans hammer that have spawn timers on them, and that certain people in the game have clocked these timers and (the shield more than the hammer) are going bag hogging the spawn.

I wouldent mind seeing in place some sort account validation, wherein when an account manages to get the shield or hammer, it is then not allowed to get it for x amount of days, just to give the rest of us a chance (obviosuly this is a bit farfetched with the hammer as its 30 day spawn, but it proves the point even more if 1 person keeps getting it, prehaps if sumone steals it, they are exluded for the next spawn (the one after that is up for grabs though)) this is more for the shield where a 10 day breather (or something similar) would allow other people to not waste a few hours mindlessly plowing through the umbris camp.

i find it to be sad that this is actually a problem, would be even more so if scripts were written specifically for this(and the already existing ones updated). not that its a bad idea, just because consideration is a bit hard to find when people are involved. this can simply be avoided if others would work together instead of bleed u dry. but then again i dont have a single relayer, or even a druid book. so what do i know...

having a druid book or relayer doesnt matter, your oppinion is still as valid as everyone elses. at the end of the day, people will still farm something if they know it will get them ritch quickly (i mean look at the GoC quest, that had to be nerfed for this very reason) my problem with it is that all the effort was put into making the umbris camp, and it takes some effort to get in...just to find that the prize is gone...again and again and again, and lets face it, there are players who if they can do it, they will do it!

I guess I have to make a reply, since I go to check the shield and sell them, assuming its aimed at me . This camp was quite a lot harder before it got changed, nobody really did it only a few, but I liked the challenge so I stuck at it learning tactics to do it without dying too many times hehe so it didnt take 5minutes to learn it... then things started to change, no invis shroud,no stealth, which made it harder still, but I stuck at it. Many times I checked shield and it wasnt there...oh well maybe next time I would say, and sometimes next time I'd get lucky and get it, good for me?
The more I did the camp the easier it became, still hard but I cut the time down to check the chests. And still hardly anyone would do it, then suddenly it became a LOT easier(view notes for changes:D) so of course to go through it all takes even less time to do... I could give steps how I do it and tips but after reading this not sure why I should lol. I will say though the spawn time does vary, so I have no definate idea when exactly it will spawn...it is a great place to farm oints as other people do it too, so why not check chests whilst farming those oints too?:) Its good more people are doing it now its become easier, I would just hope they enjoyed learning tactics to do it better and not worry about getting that loot right away, learn it and get quicker, then it wont feel so draining, of course good gear helps, but the people I've seen going deeper inside have good gear.
Goc got nerfed for farming reasons and rightly so but it still doesnt stop people selling collector set items for money , I dont do this, just the odd item now and then, but if they can sell them then good for them. Now if things at this camp get changed AGAIN... it will question a lot of things for me here, and I just wont bother trying new areas as beating the challenge for me will just mean I should feel guilty for profiting from overcoming the challenge and upsetting those that dont.

thanks for the reply siamo, firstly i can say it wasn't aimed specificity at you, although suggesting this kind of hints that your doing exactly what im complaining against, if you get that good at doing the camp, good for you, but since your there all the time, nobody else even gets a chance to have a crack at the loot. im not trying to discourage anyone in any way from doing the camp, im just saying every now and then, give it a rest so someone else can have a go.

I cant exactly talk much myself (selling full GoC collector item sets) but that said, GoC items are not considerably long spawn times (40 mins at the most opposed to 1 day+) the point im trying to make, (which you almost made for me) is that just because you've gotten particularly efficient at storming the camp and getting the shield (i admit it's probably not just you as it may not be available for you either) and even if you happen to be on more often than others and are able to check the spawn more often, doesn't mean you should take the glory fro everyone else.

I'm sorry if i sound like a bit of a *insert bad word here* but its hard for me to try and get my point across without sounding like a moaning wet blanket. in fact the more i read back over these posts i've made, the more i think why i even bothered as its just silly, but when you spend some hours ploughing through the camp to no avail (not that efficiently i might add) it gets frustrating.

No problem:) well yep I go there and check, not denying it otherwise I wouldnt have posted,but I'm not there all day, when I go if there isnt anyone inside then I will go farm oints(bordem level depending), check chests, if someone is inside then I do something else...heh like everyone we have different places we enjoy more and this was my enjoyment even when it was super hard, and up until now like I said hardly anyone did the place.

I understand your frustration about the effort it takes, all I can say is for me it got easier the more times I did it, if someone is inside for me that is them taking a crack at it and I wouldnt attempt to get any keys or stay as I wouldnt want to train them with 20mobs hehe. Its difficult because I understand what you mean but same could also be said for other things too like finding champs up,I know its different and they spawn a lot but lately Ive had a hard time finding them up but not sure they would take a break if I asked them to ...although I do have a whole castle I need to deco so maybe I shall build my 6foot walls and become a shutin for a while lol I do like abusing the yard wand.Hmm that sounded wrong lol

I just wanted to note that the spawn timers still work very randomly on many things same goes for the shield. When I want to get it I usually check it like 1-5 times or maybe even more and its not like I`m there constantly I run there get all look and if its not up I leave and check some other time. Guess everybody could do the same its not like I go in there and ask all people to leave or something if somebody is already working on it I usually just go away or have a small talk. Everybody has the same chance to check it and find it id say since you cant set a clear time where ya can say it MUST be there
