Razor Issues...

Ok all, I just got my new laptop and low and behold it had windows 7 on it. My desk top, which I play UO on all the time is using the XP OS system. Well as I tried to play UO on my new lap top i kept running into these two errors:
When first opening UO: "Razor was unable to locate and load a suitable UO cliloc file. Some textmay not be displayed"
I then went through all my normal settings on Razor and decided to log in anyways. When I did hit Okay and began to log in through razor i received this: "The selected profile could not be loaded, using default instead."
For starters I know just enough about computers to get myself in a bind btu with a little help from Oromis and his digging around on the internet I was able to fix my problem on windows 7. (From what I have read on the internet this is an issue for Vista Users as well.) Below will be my best attempt to step by step this for all you other goof balls who are lame at computer coding and lingo like myself.
1) go to you UO Excelsior folder and locate the folder "RAZOR HOW TO", open it and then open the custom.reg file.
2) Copy what I have and then modify the paths to fit your machine. (this is what I use/did and razor works with NO hiccups now)
-----------------------------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0]
"ExePath"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ultima Online - Excelsior Shard\\client.exe"
"InstCDPath"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ultima Online - Excelsior Shard"
"PatchExePath"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ultima Online - Excelsior Shard\\uopatch.exe"
"StartExePath"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ultima Online - Excelsior Shard\\uo.exe"
"Upgraded"="Yes"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online Third Dawn]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online Third Dawn\1.0]
"ExePath"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ultima Online - Excelsior Shard\\uotd.exe"
"InstCDPath"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ultima Online - Excelsior Shard"
"PatchExePath"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ultima Online - Excelsior Shard\\uopatch.exe"
"StartExePath"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ultima Online - Excelsior Shard\\uo.exe"
---------------------------------
3)I had to save this file to my desk top and then drop it back into that folder in order to overwrite the old file.
4) Next i right clicked on the file and opened it with "registry editor" and added this to my registry.
5) As an added precaution I also made sure that both Razor and my UO client were XP compatiable. (Not sure if you really need to do it or not...I just did.)
6) On the Razor load screen I made sure that the load client section relfected my client.exe file.
7) In my UO Data Directory I made it reflect my Execsior Folder.
After all this (and all day) Iwas finally able to log on problem free with Razor and Windows 7. I hope this is of use and to the MODS I am sorry if there is a post already out there with this information, but I was unable to find it.
Cheers all
