i forgot my password to my account and i was wondering if i could just deleted the one i have and make a new one? please help

I made the stupid mistake of typing in random letters into the login screen,i didnt know that it created your account with whatever info you type in. so now im stuck with an account i just created( by accident) and cant play. What do i do?
