Player-run trivia event poll

I'm planning to run some trivia events in the near future. I'm currently working out the kinks in exactly how to run the game fairly in UO, and figured I might as well start thinking about source material as well. This sort of event would likely be pay-to-play (until I acquire enough gold to start having prizes be out of pocket), with the winner taking the pot at the end of the night. I've considered having a portion of proceeds go toward giving to young players, or directly to the youth center, but haven't decided on that yet.

Input is welcomed, especially about source material and whether pay-to-play would interest you.
