House deco and design contest!

I am looking for the shard’s finest houses, so enter your house for a chance to win 50 Ed’s.

Rules are;

- Only one entry per account
- Houses must be Open to public
- You must be the owner of the house
Rules may change or be added in case of unforseen problems!

To submit your house all you have to do is mark a rune to it and contact me i.g. so i can come
and pick it up. (I WILL START COLLECTING ON APRIL 1ST AND ALL ENTRIES WILL HAVE TO BE SUBMITED BEFORE APRIL 23TH, 10H00 P.M. SHARD TIME)

Once submited, a house to house gate will be set up from your house to an area (to be determined)
for everyone to visit!

Starting on april 24th, we will have a poll on the forum for everyone to cast their vote.
Voting will be held until april 30th.

On may 1st, the winner will be announced and will receive his or her prize! It will also mark
the grand opening of my new rune library of Britania’s Finest Houses and Sights to See !!!

So have fun and start decorating!!!

I'm really excited to be part of this event but I've seen a few people pop through the event gate but not come inside. Maybe it's because they see I am in there (I'm not *that* ugly), maybe it's because it's not a grand estate, maybe they already visited, or maybe they don't like golf. I dunno. Please feel free to come in! I like visitors.

Don't let that get to you. People visiting UO houses still behave similar to real life and don't barge in to look at a house if the owner is there. They might feel it's an invasion of privacy to walk in uninvited, even though it's only a game house. So they may feel guilty when popping through the portal and leave immediately.

So it's either that, or you can stay in hide/stealth mode when expecting visitors and watch them check everything out.

Or the person that walked through the portal is unsociable and doesn't like to talk at all and wants to avoid conversation.

My game house has been Public ever since before the 2010 Halloween deco contest. And 90% of the time if I'm seen inside the house, everyone takes off. But if I'm in hiding mode, they walk inside and check everything out.

On a side note, I'm still working on my house putting in a few tweaks here and there. Will put in a rune before next Friday.
