More changes with Mel?

I dont post in the forums often, usually I'm able to find my answers, saving me the need to. No luck this time. Ive been camping mel for awhile now (currently holding 300 elven notes this session) and i haven't received a single keeper item. Not even a 4x24. Im wearing 1700 luck, which is more luck then ive worn in the past (by about 200), to find something off mel at least every 3-5 kills. Also ive noticed her spawn timer seems to have a larger 'range', just a few days ago i was able to snap my fingers and watch mel spawn, now, she might spawn 5-10 minutes later than before. When you add this time up over 10 spawns, you can see how it quickly adds up. Suddenly im getting a hair dye almost every other kill. No imps either, but that im not surprised about. I cant find any posts discussing changes made to mel, so I figured i would just post one and ask.


GM's, did you nerf my gf again? o.O


in the course of this post i killed mel again....a satyr dropped a better item then she has in ~20 kills....that's sad.

Don't worry, soon you will be rewarded for your time spent with a 2x18 resist, fc 1, 58 dispel, 58 fire area, 58 stam leech weapon. You can then spend the rest of your evening smashing your head into a wall thinking "THAT COULD HAVE BEEN 5x58".

That's according to my experience anyway.

oh no even better. I didnt count the first mel i killed. she dropped me a repond slayer 3x58 composite bow. (DI,HL,HSL,)...whoopie

it was 20 kills after THAT, with nothing....

My perfect combo are my five imps and I would peace the satyr's that lady mel spawns... before that I had 3 nobles and 1 mule same strategy and it worked wonderfully... mind you, you have to constantly heal your pets.

Or, go extreme get a bio and seat back and watch the show....

Take off protection, 4/6 casting, have some regen. Be quick at healing and be quick at taking out satyrs.

i tank it with a whirlwind weapon (see all attack script) which will automatically target the satyrs from the halberd making 10 imps and 1 echee attack the satyrs. then i target lady mel and finish her off in about 2 mins tops.


other strategies:
1 bio, 2 imprisoned, 1 echee
5 nobles 1 echee
5 mules 1 echee

i never mix it because of nobles have a instinct bonus so i keep all 5 plus 1 echee

echee's are more powerful than any pet on the shard due to the 0 pet slot. so in reality you can have 6 pets or 7 pets (charger is a 0 slot mount) while only having 5 pet slots.
