The shard politics

Post by Tildane »

being a new member i have been somewhat disappointed to hear about shard politics. they seem to suggest that some of the +members have departed. If this is so or not so then we need to be told. I am unhappy to play on a shard that is divided. Perhaps we could be informed of the truth of all this.

While we as staff do put in a lot of hours and effort and work into making the shard better, at the end of the day it's still a game. As with all games, people come and go. Staff members are no different, there have been many staffers over the years. Some stay for very long periods of time and some only stay a short while. Often it has nothing to do with politics and more to do with that elusive thing we call Real Life.

I'm sorry if you have felt ignored or confused, but that's what we're here for. You can always page us using the help menu and I personally often respond to direct PMs if it is simply a hello or a quick question not game-help related. Both methods are generally more reliable than forum posts for reaching staff specifically.

Tildane, I do not think I have has the pleasure of meeting you.
As +Nyx said so well we are here when we have time to be.
Real life can get in the way for instance I was gone for a bit of time simply because I was far to busy to log on and be a good staff member, it does not have anything to do with politics or anything else, people come and people go and the time they stay can vary quite a bit.
We staffers are just people who give our time to help with the shard so like any other player sometimes we leave for reasons not announced to the public.

I'm sorry if anyone has felt ignored or has been put off by any staff changes but rest assured we are the same place as we were before and all the staff is working at keeping the game fun for everyone.

Hina by David Lee Roth

Those eyes burn holes
Into the starry night
And when her sleepy eyes
Are open wide
You can fairly dance beneath her light
And I'd love to get to know the natives
But I'm only flesh and blood
She'll share your joys
But not your sorrows
Mistress of the coming flood.

Hina
Cool upon the silent sea
Isn't she the moon queen

Hina
Whispering, In my dreams
You must come back to me

And the tides rise and a distant sigh
Falls on deaf ears
Her vision makes you every inch a king
King for a million years
And she loves you when you're leavin'
And she'll leave you if you stay
She says...
"Don't tell me that you love me
You'll hate me for hearning it
When I drift away."

Hina
I can hear you softly cry
Your storms and lullablies

Hina
I'll whisper in your dreams
Till you come back to me.

Come back
But she will never stay
Come back
And you must never wait...,
Never wait. Never wait. Never wait

We'll miss you Hina!!!!!
Always remember to pillage before you burn!-----------Unknown

thankyou for the clarification and I absolutely understand the pressures of real life. I certainly don't feel ignored and have found staff and other players to be very helpful when I seek assistance.

My view on politics is simply as follows:

Karma

There's no need for revenge.
Just sit back and wait.
Those who hurt you
will eventually screw up
all by themselves.
And,
if you're lucky,
God will let you watch.
The power of cute compels you!
So sayeth the Bunneh . . .

Lol that was an interesting read actually. Read the whole thing but this stood out so I'll let you marinate on that. LOL xD :geek:
