server down?

Is anyone else getting stuck at "Verifying Account" today? I have been for the last 14 hours or so. Colibri, did the server crash or something?

Have you patched to OSI just recently?
That might be the problem.
Go to http://patch.uoex.net and download 506b client, replace it with your own client (And dont forget to backup your own client.exe first).
O yes, if that doesnt work, Kati just told me yesterday how she fixed the problem - she reinstalled Razor. So that might be something to consder. Or reinstall uogateway might help too.

As i just read on uogateway, it's illegal to host UO client versions or the game installer... So... err just try the reinstall of razor and uogateway, and please let me know if it works.

No luck.I was in-game yesterday w/ some computer problems, but I got in and today when I tried no luck.I updated razor and gateway to the newest ones and installed both.Still no luck.Ideas?

The only way it's worked for me lately was to use the temp fix Colibri had posted some months ago now. It was the one where you had to go to start > run > and enter some gosh-awefully-long execution.
anyway, it won't let me use razor, but it let me login. I did, however, recently download a razor update, so that could be the problem. later tonight I'll try removing and reinstalling razor.

well, I tried to get the correct version of the client. I attempted to back it up prior to downloading, but apparently backedup the wrong file. and to get the current version I attempted to patch using the UO patcher. whiel it was running I tried to stop the download at the correct version, but it went on anyway. then I tried to cancel the program, but it kept running. by the time I could turn the cable connection off I had patched up to version 5.0.6.5. So I just finished patching up to version 5.0.7-something. So, I'm now having to run using razor as a launcher.

Alrighty i managed to get in-game after reloading razor and gateway again.Had to disable razor though.Every time i tried to log in w/ it..I got stuck on varifing account screen.I set it to no and have no problems.I can get in game though so thats all that counts.My guess is the newest razor update is not 100% compatable. oh well.

the new razor dosent work - go back to razors website and download the earlier version of it.
