BETA (Bio-Engineering Trust Association) was set up to stop competition in the bio marketing industry. This is not the real world, and there are no regulations on pricing, nor is there any law forbidding of such prices. the reason why we have set this up: My first bio cost me 300 eds, and i never wanted to see that happen again. we do not mind new players learning it, but we will not help them in doing so. until they learned the field (as we all have had to do, which is only fair), and they sell a few MAXED, DOUBLE SPECIAL, MAXED RESIST bio's entry is denied, and only until that is met. we keep strict rules on how much to buy organics at (lower the price of organics lower the price of bio's), and how much we sell the bio's at. we do not EVER sell single special bio's nor bio's with things like counter poison, which keeps our name at a higher standard. for the last 2 years of BETA we have dropped the prices from 300 eds/10 mil down to 6 mil/100 eds, and have kept the constant pricing. a few times we even dropped down to 5.5 mil for a counter healing bio. yes we do predatory pricing, but again this is not the real world. in the real world there would be a ceiling price and a floor price, and would be regulated by the government, but this is not so. things do need to be regulated or else you'll have things like titan hammers at 2k eds. That is why BETA is set up, and that is why we price things low when others get into the field, who wishes to change the pricing of things, or sell bad bio's (single special, no special bio, or selling poisoning bios). we don't like to see a new player who doesn't know anything about the bio, get a bad deal.

Just need some clearance... Poisoning Bio's are bad?? I bought one from you a while ago (not complaining though) at the old cost and I didn't see anything wrong with it. I remember bios with XXX + counter healing were at 8mill and the lower end of bios XXX + poisoning were at 5mill. What I am trying to say is that I didn't find much difference from a counter healing bio with mine. It might save me some healing here and there but for me a bio is a meat shield nothing more nothing less Mine has the poisoning + blunt attack which I think it's cool and specially when dealing with Netopir.

With your statement, it has killed any potential for me to resale my bio (if one day I decided to sell it) since you said poisoning bios = are bad. I am not trying to stir controversy just pointing out my 2 cents, you know I have huge respect and admiration for a player like you. Why not have a rating system like good/better/best?

sorry larsa not saying they are a terrible waste but at 5.5 mil that's a good buy, at that time. counter healing bio's first are over rated. i prefer the counter blunt attack, because well... i like doing more damage, as i can always heal or have the bio use it's own bandies. against nepitor i'd just use poison field as that stays in place no matter if he cures himself (counter poison doesn't always fire off every hit). with poison field you don't have to worry about that . sorry if i meant to say it's a bad buy it's just a meat shield as you said, but wouldn't you want it to do more damage?

Aye we didn't set up the BETA to become wealthy we were that before hand and make our millions on other means we did it to give the players a better chance of getting only the best of the best

As for a ranking system for there special and counter it all depends on what you plan to do with said BIO you wouldnt use the same bio on ice wyrm you would on a champ.... Explanation the ice wyrm is a single target so you dont really need Area attacks so Blunt/TBF against ice wyrm would be nice and a CH/IceBlast would be awesome for champs you can put 1k bandies on him set him loose on the spawn and not worry about him and he would hit multiple targets with one special

Hey Anar there's no need to apologize! You know pretty well that you and I can have an intelligent conversation/debate without throwing fists Granted back in the days the bios were a huge investment. Thanks for the clarification though... unfortunately my bio is going to die a virgin at the stables as I don't use her anymore.

Rossi, the info you provided is very helpful for players that are looking to buy or currently own a bio. Depending on what you are fighting there is always the right bio to do the job. There is no "Sin" to make a profit (if any) on the bios since I remember making one of those takes a lot of patience and lots of dough... so NO, I don't see a problem making a decent profit for your troubles.

Everybody else, BETA is a great group of bio engineers that has plenty of experience in the field. Their before and after sales customer service is great and their prices are very fair! So buy with confidence. Cheers!

actually i tried a blunt attack acid rain bio and it worked out pretty good on nepitar. sorry for doubting you as we're all still learning lol. in fact with the stamina leech on it and the poison field up when poison field failed my bio kept up the poisoning giving me time to recast. lol nice
