Bedlam Hunting Party

The next stop I have on my GoC Quest is Bedlam. I have already done Labryinth, Sactuary, and Blighted Grove on my own without much of an issue. Bedlam though is giving me a bit of a hard time. And I would like to know if any experienced Bedlam Hunters would be willing to accompany me while I gather the pieces I need for the GoC Quest.

I will bring my 5 Maxed out Imp Dogs and Max Cu with me to help with the mobs and bosses as needed. But need some extra fire power in certain areas, and of course the occasional Rez.

I don't know when I will be making my next attempt there, so if more than one person post that they would be willing to help, that would be great. Cause I'm sure we don't all play at the same times, and someone might be busy doing something else at the time.

Thank you all in advance, and happy hunting.

stealth to grizzle then spam the password and run in quckly. then kill grizzle. there is a book case to get out. stealth to the upper left corner of the graveyard and target the guy with the key. then he'll come to you. then stealth to the door open it and run in quickly.

oh yeah this is where a bio is better than a pack of pets.

I haven't been on tons of late, but you can [pm Quasar and I'll be glad to show you first hand if I'm around. But its a place of slow drops, so after showing you the way, you will most likely have to make many trips in there. Stealthing to the library as Anarchy said is the way to go. You will probably have to kill grizzle a bunch of times. But even harder than that is the Jade Amulet. You have to get the key off the hard(ish) guy in the grave yard, may have to kill him a bunch of times to get the key. Once you get in the Crypt, getting that amulet is ridiculous slow drop. The way I do it is once I'm in there, i just don't leave until I get it. I'll hide then log out in there if I have to go, sometimes I'm down there for a couple days (depending on how much play time i have). If you want to wait in game, you can pull the lever at the end of the hall and summon skeletor (also drops GOC item, easy one to get) and you can farm elven notes from him, 5 at a time. He spawns every time you pull the lever.

So basically, the dungeon is getting the two hard items (discussed above) and the 3 easy items. The hood is semi low drop, but you will be down there so long for the Jade Amulet, the Hood won't be a problem.

Guess I got lucky then, cause I got the Crypt key in 4 kills, and got Amulet and Hood both in the first kills. (Prolly wont ever happen like that again.) Still need to get the Key from Skeletor and the drop from Grizzle. Grizzle is the hardest for me, because of his AoE Life Leech. I usually use my Imp Dogs on Bosses like him, but that's counter-productive in cases like him and Neptoir.

So I still need to go back again sometime soon, and get the Skeleton Key, and fight Grizzle. Prolly will only need help with Grizzle now that someone has shown me around a bit.

Yes you were lucky indeed... like Melkor, I have spent my fair share of time inside the crypt, the record 3 days (that is logging in and out) just to get one amulet. For some odd reasons my chances of getting the amulet are much higher than getting the darn hood. I can get 3 amulets and 0 hoods 0.o

The grizzle does life leech plus his favorite move of mortal strike. Like Anarchy said, human bios work pretty well and some mentioned Cu Sidhes, unless I am doing something wrong my Cu doesn't last 2 hits. You could unleash your imps on the grizzle but you have to heal em fast and non-stop. If you need a hand and I am around I can help tank it or even kill it. And yeah be ready to go again and again... cause it is the slowest peerless of all in the sense or re-spwan and drops. My very first time I had to kill it 15 times... no BS!

Also skeletor doesn't drop 5 elven notes all the time, its random as well. Good luck

P.S.
The last two peerless are much more fun Prism and Paroxysmus

The problem with fast heals on my imps vs Grizzle is the massive Area of Effect he has on his life drain, keeps faulting or delaying my casts, I THINK I might be able to do it since all my dogs are fully ointed but it would be close at times.

Try moving back more, out of range of the AOE, another option, but not as good is to use Protection spell, you won't fizzle, but you won't case as fast either.

I finally got everything I needed for Bedlam. Now to start looking into getting ready for my next stop on the GoC tour.
