Well I created a character to learn the shard with.

That character built the house up from a 8x8 to a 18x17x3.

I then built Enigma Maitreya up.

I made an assumption that houses were account wide ownership.

I deleted Jack Maitreya.

Now the house is said to be owned by Jack Maitreya and no one on the account can get in or access the house sign.

*Shrug* I will leave my character loged in for a few days on the event that someone that can do something about this and is willing to do something about this chooses to do something about this, the character will be at the house sign post.

Make sure you page, then do your waiting.

I started with a page explaining the problem at on or around 10:00 AM CST USA.

As of now 08:00 PM CST USA I am still getting "We are sorry but no staff members are currently available........".

Some in game have suggested that the wait for some staff member to .... log in could be measured in hours, days or weeks.

Has something changed here over the last month or two?

Hum, I did get a reply to the page.

Seems, that the replier could not verify that Jack Maitreya was on my account and that it would require a higher authority to check that.

Perhaps I should have included that the character that placed the house was deleted within one hour of

a) The original page, thank you Microsoft for the forced reboot at the least expected time
b) This post being made to this forum.

Now I am not quite certain as to what to do next, leave Enigma standing at the Sign Post waiting, logoff and try to access the house periodically?

Oh well, at least I know that the page worked and I am trying to pursue this to get it corrected the best way.

In short, recreating Jack Maitreya did not work. I assume there are internal ID's that are being checked on things, why Enigma was an owner as long as Jack existed suggests that there is an account ID tag.

Why Enigma was treated as a non owner when Jack was deleted suggest that the ID's are Hiearchical, meaning that Enigma's ID must be a subset of Jacks ID, such that when Jack was deleted all ownership flags for any and all characters on the account would have been removed.

In the end, this seems to be a justification to allow a 2nd account to circumvent the problem.

Owner transfers house to 2nd account character, 2nd account character transfers the house to the desired character on the 1st account. Now it is safe to delete the orgininal character that placed the house on the 1st Account. It is also safe to delete the character on the 2nd account and let the 2nd account expire.

Home ownership is based on account ... but access to the house is based on the character that places the plot.

All characters on your account are Co-Owners by default without having to be added to the ownership list... However deleting the origional owner of the house will cause exactily this problem. Now you do not have the origional character who had ownership any longer.

Re making a new character with the same name will result in nothing... As each character makes a new database id for that individual character for all database references of ownership...

The only way now to verify that your character was on your account is to do an account audit... The only person who can do an audit is +Colibri... If you have already sent in a page and have been told that it has been moved to someone else to take a look at than... All you have to do is have patience ... Nothing else you can do will speed up getting something done to fix the issue. Your houses should not delete as they are still linked to your account just make sure to log in to keep your account active.

There is no justification to have a second account. Rules state dual accounting = ban

Also, U could have paged before u deleted the char, or you could have just used the other character, I am confused why for any reason you deleted the other character in the first place? You can have 5 characters on your account......

Just remember these facts before investing your time in a 20 year old game.
