Question regarding the Veteran Discussion Group

Lately in the forums, we've been turning most discussions into flame wars, finger pointing, calling each other out etc, having nothing to do with the original topic, and often requiring staff to step in to try to get control of the thread.

Is this discussion group going to be strictly moderated? I'm sure the last thing anyone wants is to log in to the discussion just to land right in the middle of a boogar war about what each other is allegedly doing or how stupid a post is or so and so cannot speak because he/she did this or that in game or he/she can't post that way. This concern only nags me because 96.874% of the forum flaming comes from vet players.

I'm really only interested in what staff has to say, but I'm posting publicly in case anyone else has the same sincere concern.

Believe me, it will be heavily moderated.

The forums are open for everyone, so we have to be a bit more tolerant of ridiculousness since being a snot isn't technically against the rules until it crosses a certain point into harassment/flaming/etc.

But the discussion group is a private, invitation-only group that belongs to +V and myself, thus we will have total control over who is allowed to participate. The reason nobody has been added yet is that we're still working on ironing out the rules of the group and forming a proper explanation of its exact purpose to avoid any nonsense.

We, too, do not want to see any more of this flaming ridiculousness, and it will not be tolerated AT ALL in the discussion group.
