I don't understand the beef

As many of you now know, I have been here quite a long bit of time and I have seen many players come and go. I have also seen lots of drama unfold over world chat and the forums since 2007, many dealing with staff "abuse" or miscondunct. Was any of the drama warranted? I don't know, maybe some was, but I really don't care. Bottom line is, if I was unhappy as some of these players were or are, I would just leave. Obviously, that hasn't happened to me. If you feel the staff are abusing you, why the hell are you still here? Who has a gun pointed at your head saying "play Excelsior! 
" I know for a fact that there are many other great shards out there; Excelsior doesn't have a monopoly on UO. So, if things are as traumatic as like it is with this current situation, why constantly hang around and vent and spew your thoughts over and over again? If you feel something needs to be said, then say it and then do the logical thing...move on. What is there to gain by trying to post over and over again? How many times do you have to beat your head against the wall before you realize that all you are going to accomplish is to give yourself a massive headache and probably ruin your wall. The unofficial definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result each time. For all I know, staff could be totally wrong in this situation but so what? This is a game designed for enjoyment. If you are not enjoying it, go somewhere else to enjoy it. If it is only your goal to show everyone that you are "right" and to vindicate yourself, so what? I am not being abused and neither is 99.9% of the shard. But, we get subjected to listen to someones personal agony over and over again, something most of us don't deserve. For all of the unhappy players out there, I wish you nothing but peace and harmony but honestly, you just might not find it here.
