Staff Availability for June
Posted: Sat Jun 01, 2013 7:30 pm
As some of you have probably heard, my father passed away last week rather suddenly. He had been sick, but his prognosis was 2-5 years, and then one night he was just gone. We were very close, and I am having an extremely hard time with the loss. On top of that, I am planning his memorial by myself and from across the country.
I am making this public knowledge solely because my availability is drastically decreased right now and will remain so through most of June. Pages will likely have a much longer wait time than usual. And I'm definitely not in the mood to put up with any lip, heh. So, if you have page requests, please be aware that the wait time will likely be long, and just be patient. I am doing what I can to still get them answered in spite of everything that is going on, but there's really only so much I can do at this time.
In order to expedite your page request, PLEASE read this post: http://www.uoex.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=38126#p38126 and follow these steps when submitting your page. If you submit your page properly, it will help greatly. If you sent a vague or incomplete page request, then I'm just not going to be able to spare the time to chase after you to find out what you need. Following proper paging guidelines is something every player should ALWAYS be doing, but particularly at times like this. It is your responsibility to take these basic steps in order to submit your page in a way that can be answered fully and quickly.
Veritas and I will be out of town from June 12-27. Colibri is still exceptionally busy with his RL job and school courses, so for those two weeks in particular the shard will likely be mostly unstaffed.
Keep in mind that this is not an invitation to go wild in our absence. Everything you say can be monitored regardless of whether we're online at the time, so getting inappropriate in WC or etc will still result in punishment once we return. For those who think AFK leveling is cool, I wouldn't test the waters for that, either, if I were you.
