Just noticed a couple of comments in some previous posts, I know everything is monitored online anyway, but are our Guild chats and PMs activly monitored by GM's?

Not actively. There are certain words/phrases that would be reviewed, and if an admin is on they might notice additional things. Chat rules aren't enforced for guild chat or PM, but there are circumstances in which what is said in these mediums would be actionable by the staff (Ie: harassment, spamming, unsolicited advertising, exploiting, stalking, threats against another player in RL, attempts to subvert the shard or staff, and so on).

99.99% of you will never fall under any of those particular caveats. For our rule-abiding players, you don't really need to worry. You're free to use PM or guild chat to curse or discuss drug usage and other things you may not discuss in world chat, so long as the line isn't crossed into harassment or anything of that nature.
