Gardening

Gardening is a non skill based activity that I enjoy. I'm hearing that it is about to be expanded to include BODs. It's a big task that I hope happens.
A great thing about Excelsior is that you can buy "sprinklers" from the stone in Trinsic. They make gardening viable, timewise.
I'm thinking that if the sprinklers could be craftable, and removed from the vendor stone, then the whole game economy may benefit.
By having sprinkler crafting needing reagents such as fertile dirt, bat wings, switches, parasitic plants, or similar reagents that are often discarded, it could help to redistribute wealth.
I'm sure the above concept would be too hard to code, but offer an alternative :

What if the sprinkler vendor stone was in a room only accessible via a repeatable quest requiring the above reagents?
Low level players would have a market through [exex.
Laissez-faire !
