Snowmen losing their name when locked down

I noticed that all of my snowmen that were named would lose their name when locked down, but regain it when unlocked. Is that by design? I like to show off my collection of named snowmen, but all I can display are generic ones at the moment. Not much point to have names on them if they only show up in your backpack or storage chest.

I know that you have your special collection of named snowmen, and just wanted to say that same applies to the snowman given out on this year's gift
