Hello All! I am thinking about joining this shard but I was hoping to get some questions answered before I commit to the move. I appreciate any and all responses, thanks!

1- What facets are in play? (ie: fel, tram, etc.)
2- Apx. how many players are active on this shard?
3- What are the stat/skill caps.
4- How many accounts are allowed and how many characters per account?
5- What is unique about this shard? I thought I saw something about leveling weapons??
6- Please share anything else that would help me get a feel for this shard.

0. Do it! you won't regret it.

1. Tram, Fel, Lost Lands, Malas, Tokuno, and 2 new custom lands soon to be implemented
(note. Fel is under similar rules to Tramel, no player killing. PvP is only inside the PvP dungeon)
2. Lots. Generally about 70-100 online at any one time (?). Quite diverse player base so it is active 24/7.
3. Check wiki for stat cap, I forget it. No Skill cap - Can be Legendary in everything. Crafting, Mage, Tamer, Fighter, Archer, Bard...
4. 1 account per person. 5 Characters but you only need one because no skill cap.
5. This shard has so much unique it would be silly to try list it all. Wiki has lots of info.
6. People here are friendly and will help you, rather than other shards where they will kill you and then again when you try retrieve your body again and again until you rage quit. Active moderators add content, hold shard events (and keep everyone following rules)

Thanks for the info, Nunja! I have one question though. Why is fel under a tram-like rule-set? Kind of defeats the purpose no?
Anyways, this sounds awesome! I think I'll download it now and probably begin playing tomorrow

Oh, one last question. After I download the pre-patched client, how do I login using razor (ie: address & port)?

Address and port are on the mainpage but it is shard.uoex.net and port is 60

Fel has it's own rule set here . You earn doubble Resources when doing things such as mining, lumberjacking ... Many mobs here have doubble xp for weapons in certian areas ... No housing is allowed in Fel ... YOu cannot recall to fel ... PVP is only allowed here in the pvp dongeon and with concent amongst guildmates,

We have a Rather Large Wiki to explain many different quests and such. A huge amount of customized mobs and Items are available. (Even some areas that are specifically for new players only that older players cannot enter).

Unique things include:

A. Animal breeding. You can make very powerful pets by breeding together lesser ones. My sheep regularly take down dragons.

B. Relayers. Level up weapons to high power and then convert them to a different equipment slot like armor or leggings. Hard to do but makes you uber powerful.

C. Many many custom graphics, objects and mobs.

Feel for the shard: the key thing is, there is no PvP here. There are a couple small areas where it's technically allowed but unless I miss my guess the range in power from the shard customs would make PvP horribly unbalanced. So, if you find your challenge in deathmatch competition with other players, this probably isn't the place for you.

On the other hand, if you like figuring out the game's challenges without your finger on the emergency recall button for when the Reds appear, this is a nice place. Folks here are pretty laid back too. They enjoy playing the game and they enjoy playing it -with- you.

first let me say this shard is full of fun players who I believe have been playing for years. I started playing after 9 years absent. Honestly I remembered fun but this place rocks! So many quests, crafting is endless ( I love the crafting). Right now I am working on a bow which I purchased an upgrade. What it does is allows me to increase lots of fab stats like Dex, mana leech, lightening, increase strength. so many options. I can then purchase another type of deed to turn this bow into a shirt or just about anything I like. Imagine the stat increase! Its endless. We can have double lots for huge homes, we have bee's that will make so much money as well as crafting with the wax. I had so many vets offer to help me back in the game. They took me hunting, helped guide me in what are the important stats to work on. Our shard just opened a new dungeon with tons of new weapons, pets and quests. The choice to have fun is yours but honestly on this shard it's a blast. Come join us and get ready to rock! Join in on global chat, make friends, join a guild. Hope to see you. The more the merrier.
