Contributors are welcome of the scripting/programing variety

Introducing, from the think tank that brought you "lets make flamingos"

Jedi R2D2

Technically its a hud/sound/animation addon script makes a nifty little window..

Whats it do you may ask, well it acts as a heads up display, displaying names of town in all facets, and controlling background music through any version of windows media player automatically switching songs or playlists for every location (200+)

there is a great deal of them peerless rooms, towns, dungeons by level etc etc etc

it allows you to re-soundtrack the game, and turn the stock uo music off, but allow for detail custom to excelsior including your own guildhouse/compound if you so choose.

it also acts as a battle skin displaying animations when you hit and miss, (with easily made themes) and weapon type

Current Animation and sound Themes

Wrestling: Ryu from Street Fighter, The Three Stooges, and a goold old fashions Slap Fight
Melee: Ninja Sword/Ninja, and Yoda/Light Sabers
Ranged: Rambo, Han Solo

and you can add your own themes to the script very easily.

plus each sound effect type is individually muteable, and so is the music so you have GUI control of it all.

Coming soon from yoda laboratories.

sweet, I cant wait to play around with it! are we able to add our own music to it? I dont think I saw anything on that in your post. It would be rockin to hit up doom/doom champ and have the theme from Doom playing =P

this is precisely what it does, you link say doom to doom.mp3 in your collection or better still the playlist and it happens sire...

the paths are also stored in the header for config and shortening that process..

I should add that you don't need to alter the script to add doom in, its there along with 234 excelsior shard locations on all facets.. so you walk into vesper it plays the vesper mp3 or playlist you have configured, from your own personal music collection

so in fact if you were a fan of something vapid like Aqua or Ace of Bass you could in fact have it play barbie girl every time you enter trinsic, although I don't highly reccomend this

and every time you fight lady melesande her theme music "these boots" by Nancy Sinatra blares out of your speakers.

or if you like something actually appropriate

This is so cool. I haven't played with it yet. But I can't wait to sync "Achilles Last Stand" to some of my favorite battle locations. Great tune by Led Zeppelin for those who may not know :)

Awesome job Yoda!

Thank you yoda (& his fictional or non fictional think tank/team) , though i have to admit and its sad that i have yet found time to try out the ginsulator or saberizer, they have been on the top of my free time list for way to long, but thank you for your passion for all things awesome and your willingness to do it in a way as to let us all experiance it, right on ;)

the only reason the full r2d2 suite isn't released yet is I was hoping to make a gui based file linker rather than manual setup

you should see what it does when it encounters trapped chests

it technically can capture any igame event or overhead speech and add sound effects to those events

names, etc

I wouldn't reccomend using saberizer once this is out because this script essentially swallowed saberizer and expanded on it. but it shows you the beginnings of the concept at work there is a better file organization than saberizer, and the hit/miss/idle detection works cleaner, as well the animations use scaling/and spritesheets for less memory overhead (since I can't vsync in easyuo)

basically it works amazing
