My name is Eduardo and i'm going to start playing on this shard, should i know anything about this server? What do you guys do for fun here? Any tips for a new player?

Howdy,
My main suggestion would be: make a throw-away "bootstrapping" character and earn some gold first. After you have a feel for the game and can both optimize and fund your main character, come back and create it. You can have up to 5 characters on your account and if you no longer want a character you can delete it after at least a week passes.
For your bootstrapper, I suggest: 50 int, as much str as you can with what's left, 40 animal taming, and 50 veterinary. Lock the int immediately so you don't gain more. This will let str and dex rise to 125 as you do stuff, the optimal profile on the shard.
You'll find a +60 skill ball in your bank box each time you create a character. Use bootstrapper's to increase your animal taming to 100. If you happen to have a buddy with a 110 animal taming scroll he'll give you, start taming at 50 instead.
Now head for the new player donations area. You'll find chests of stuff that vets have donated for new players to use. Pick out some decent arms and armor and pick 4 overpowered animals from the donation chests. Pay attention to the stats: that chicken may be way more powerful than the dragon.
Check by periodically; new stuff is dropped off all the time. Make sure you pick out a "trash" shield as well. It'll get destroyed in the training room working up parry skill, so pick the worst one you find.
Then head for the training room. While you train combat skills, have your llama attack too and macro the animal lore skill on him so that you train animal lore up to 75 at the same time. Once this is all set up, read the wiki for more tips while you wait.
Before you head out hunting, drop by Yew and shear the sheep. Work the wool into cloth and cut the cloth into bandages. No skill caps here, so veterinary and healing are good investments.
When you're ready to head for combat, let your pets do the work for you. Take it easy until you learn how to keep them alive and avoid monsters that deal poison damage until your veterinary and healing are well over 70.
When it comes time to make your main character, taming may not be your style. For your bootstrapper, it's THE way to go.
Welcome to the shard. Most players are friendly, so don't be shy about saying hello or asking for help.
Regards,
Wil
