Right first off all I'd like to say how much I'm loving this shard. You guys have done a real great job here! :D
Right, now to my point, Is there no possible way events can be at times for people living in different countrys.... I'm in england I seem to be about 5 hours ahead off others. I'm not asking for every event be based on my time just asking is there any chance they can be varied.
I hear great things about them but am yet to take part in one, Last night Zandor anouced an event will take place in about half hour, That was at 00:28 my time, by 01:10 I ended up leaving because the event hadn't started, and I had to get up early in morning.

Any response I'd be most thankful.

If I'm not mistaken he's a player, so it's really up to him to do whatever he wants with a player run event.

As far as the staff run stuff, they usually just do them when a large number of people are on, the server and admin are an hour ahead of you but he's not very likely to run one if there's only a handful of people on.

Ok first Zandor is a GM, could play aswell but at the time he was a GM.

I'm not saying hold an event just because I'm on and I want to join in, I'm just asking if there is any possibilty we could have at least one a week advertised on the forums or something that is held a little earlier?

In future don't reply if your not helping....

Yes I know it can be a problem but the staffers may do an event whenever it best suits them, we're all volunteers. It can sometimes be a problem when an event is announced for 10 minutes and then gets delayed for 1-2 hours. But sometimes setting up the event seems like it will take very little but soon more things start coming up and it gets delayed. That's why I'd also like to ask all of the staff to plan ahead and have everything ready when starting to announce the event.

As for the scheduling - it takes much more concentration and energy to post the schedule and then abide to it for the event a week ahead. For me, if there's a decent above-average number of players online and I have time, I do an event. The only scheduled events at the moment are the auctions every 2 weeks, those we advertise about 3-5 days before, on town criers and in chat. Seems that the events usually happen when most of Europeans are asleep, so I hope we can do more events earlier.

There's a player named Xandor, I thought perhaps you were confusing the spelling, but apparently there's been a GM added since I was last paying much attention.

I could be snarky and make a comment about "any response..." but I'll just let it go with, don't ask questions if you don't want answers. I just told you how it works. There for a few months we had a higher european presence, and stuff did tend to shift a little earlier, but it's just not the case anymore. I've missed dozens of events over the last couple years, you just catch the ones you can.

Thank you for the response Colibri, I am aware things can't always go the way you plan i.e. the times stated, I wasn't picking fault at that.
Just thought if people were aware of an event happening at certain times maybe more would attend.....
Thanks to Rayne last night I got into an event =) And really enjoyed it.
