Server wide idea...

Many many years ago, I played on a regular OSI shard of UO. We had a festival that all guilds worked together to put on. It was mainly a means of guild recruitment but it was a blast to do. I'm just wondering if it would be feasible to do something like that here. Different events we had for the festival were:
Chicken Run - Players that wanted to participate broke up into groups of 3 - 5 people (depending on how many wanted to go at the time). They were given a tamed chicken and then were gated to a bottom level of some dungeon. A judge recalled to the door of the dungeon. Whichever group made it out with the chicken alive won. (this was awesome funl *LOL*)
Box Decorating - Each participant was given an empty box. They used it along with items found all over the server, such as regs, fruit, etc.... to make a picture in the box. The boxes were then judged on creativity.
Summoning Contest - Mages were pitted against each other in a battle of summoning. A creature was called out and the mages summoned until that creature was successfully summoned.
Scavenger Hunt The way this was done took a lot of volunteers, but it was awesome. Clues led groups all over the server, some going places they may or may not have ever been before. At each location, they were given another clue to the next location.
These were just some of the events. There were other events held in the main festival area as well, such as normal archery contests, dueling contests, and more. It was a great day of celebration that lasted pretty much all day, if I remember correctly. *LOL*
