[Claim suggestions

Hey, I am loving the Excelsior experience! To all staff and loyal adventurers, Thank you for all of the hard work and support. I have an idea or two for the [claim option. Perhaps if there is not a viable way to get it scripted; or a logistical reason not to, then maybe there is a way to configure Razor....
Anyway, I was thinking what if?...
... you could [claimAOE and all the bodies within a large circle would be instantly claimed for gold
the other idea that would be super sweet would be... what if we could actually select items that would be automatically "claimed" on the [claim option (i.e. in case I want bandages or demon bones from a lich but not all of the other junk)
Any thoughts or suggestions?

I like the Idea Of being able to select certain stuff like that i'd give that a thumbs up

Yes, that would be nice, but it would just cause more money to flow into the economy... and that is one of my primary concerns (and no, Jean-Claude Trichet is not my relative :p). Originally there was the [grab command but I disabled it on purpose.
But I know it would be great for earning extra gold in champion spawns

Honestly, it's only a major problem for people that use volcanic eruption to do champs, otherwise you should be able to claim things as they die.

Well said
Well as old man alewar wrote, you can achieve the same thing with a razor macro, it however won't be as effective... you'll miss some corpses and you won't be able to heal your pets while you do it, it's also a lot of work to watch the claiming while not getting your pets killed.

druids dont do pets

(or, only when the boss pops up)
also, there is a little thing called 'effort' heheh
(and i say this after having posted my razor macro)
you can always take a looter with you to spawns, who just grinds teh claim macro while you blast away.
however i must let you in on a secret: its more profitable to let the corpses go and just do a secon d champ in the time you would have spent claiming. on average income will be higher due to the odd 115 or 120 PS you can sell for an assload, and trust me, i made my first 10 million that way.
For example: ill gladly fork over half a mill for a 120 magery scroll, ive seen a 120 lore scroll go for a million at least 7 times, and archery 120 and fencing will fetch 1.2M on a good day. ( 0.5 to 0.7 on a bad day )
(well, and one or two from selling plat armors )

ok scrap the [claimAOE option but what about a gump that allows you to set specific items to be looted using the [claim command? I have seen this before and it is quite useful. It won't have gold flowing into the economy but it would make cleaning up faster. I am thinking more for dungeon crawling where I want demon bones and gold or perhaps in Destard just the gems and gold, etc.
Thoughts about that?
