voting time

anyone know the time frame between voting? I come back after a full 24hr wait to vote and gateway tells me I have already voted
24 hours for most. 12 hours for a few. And it has to basically be 24 hours and 1 minute.
Some of them will tell you how long you have to wait before you can vote again
