I'm not even talking about me, it's just I know I can quick glance at the player list and see who has and who doesn't. I just don't think it's a big surprise to much of anyone who does and doesn't.

I'm almost certain I'm not on top anyway. Which is fine by me, I don't focus on farming gold.

thats an idea too, show the numbers, and at portal you can opt in to your name being shown

how about when you say "balance" it shows your FULL balance including the checks... or maybe like "full balance" i like that idea... i would like to see my full balance at times, cuz its nice to see a rich bank lol... =]

approach the top, ask them if they would or would not wish displayed, then show the top who agreed categorized by their individual comparative rankings in gold value; and see what the shard thinks, if they would even wish to see said results. have them placed somewhere, a halls or something accesible to players, that sounds kewl and fun, an everchanging, shifting top three, maybe even separated by gold and..value of possessions ranking...thank you, have a nice day, and be well.

I havent read the other posts on this one so sorry if its already been said.

But i think its a bad idea, especialy since i know i grind my butt off and am comfotably wealthy ingame, where i know for a fact alot of players (especialy the newer ones) have just as much gold or even more becuase they are very well off in real life (and donate for their in game welth) I've seen at least a hand full of people at the last grand auction that i have never encountered or even heard of half the time.

So the top 10 would kind of be pointless, with the amount of players on the shard, its safe to assume (i know, never assume anything) that the top 10 are among these people who donate on a regular basis and sell ED

mabey a better idea would be to include on sum1's donation statue their total donation ammount but then again i feel thats an even bigger breach of someones privicy than your origonal suggustion :)

I say no, I already get enough private messages asking about my gold, how I get gold and my all time favorite, how I can afford to give them gold. It is to the point that I have private messages turned off unless actually waiting for a message from players not on my friend list or doing business with players.

Maybe after you get enough of those kind of messages, you will see and understand my point.

What if the "EXEX" market crashes? Or we have a huge EX recession? Nothing is safe... not even the towns' local banks... I say spent it all...and fast!

If you want to make a top 10 list... I say make a list of who are the players with most kills and what type of kills... LOL that will set off everybody on a killing spree!
