BODs: char or account based?

Ok there's an idea about changing how bods are given out, should there be a really good responce we might change it to this.

The change would be, that the timing would be Account based, instead of character based. The bod times would be shortened by 4 (if it was 4 hours per character before, it's now 1 hour per account).

I was never into BODs, so i have totally no opinion about it, so you are all welcome to comment good and bad sides of the both options.

Personally I don't care....

I only did taming for the taming PS.....
And beyond that I only did them to get a few things.....

But I think the time stipulations should be dropped for higher end people....
make it a level time limit....

explain that a bit more for my feable mind.... 1 hour per acct? that mean you can only run the bods on one chara every hour? so effectively you would be able to run the 1 chara every hour instead of running 5 chara every 5-6 hrs?

about like you wrote, Pip. Instead of running 5 characters every 5 hours, you would run 1 character every hour.
But i dont know if it's a good thing or a bad thing...

Sounds like the exact same thing to me. Well, it is if your main character has all of the BoD skills and you aren't relying on certain characters for certain BoDs. Would make it a lot easier for people to macro getting BoDs...whether that is a good things or bad, I do not know. I really dont care either way...

I am not on for long periods of time. I do however try to log on everyday so I can get bods. If I am cut down to one bod per account then it would not be worth logging on to get bods. When I log on to get bods I also vote. It is like a routine that I have gotten used to. Without a reason to log on everyday... I wouldn't have a reason to vote as often. As it is currently I can log on, vote, get five taming bods(and other crafts as well), and then log off to carry on with real life. Again... this is a change that will not affect the people who live on excelsior, but those who try to enjoy the game as often as they can. It will give those players an unfair advantage. The funny part is that most of them probably wouldn't run bods every hour due to they are typically not interested in them. The only way this would work... is the crappy bods are eliminated. Has anyone looked at the tailoring bods??? There are alot of various leathers and then it is normal or exceptional!!!! I still don't have a tailor Lbod that I can fill due to this.

Kind of pointless to me. Why go through all the trouble to make it so you have the exact same outcome?

In my oppinion it is a good idea. I personally like to play one character and skill one charakter - without logging in and out all the time to send other chars to get bulk orders.

Also a good idea would be a bulk order stone to get some small bulk orders to fill the large bulk orders.
