- In a way, the whole idea of not putting prices on vendors.uoex.net is not to undercut prices and basically disabling the market for that kind of item. And "free something" is kind of saying "0gp for <this type of item>". And therefor, it shouldn't be allowed.
- Perhaps prohibiting saying that something is free on your vendor, and consequently on vendors.uoex.net, is taking it a bit too far. It's an advertising strategy to attract more people to the vendor, it's not exactly providing a price of some item, and should be allowed.
