I find this hard to believe, but if it is, I honestly apologize for that. I rarely ever ignore a direct PM for help.

learned my lesson about blessing items though that day.

I know for alot (Not just on this server, I am talking about in UO) part of their game is haggling prices, never has been fun for me. The seller has a high price so if need be they can have some haggle room, so per the normal of what goes on there is a decent price and that price is some where usually between the highest and lowest the seller is willing to go (Even in a pipe dream I cannot see that as 5 million and in fact in my world a low ball bid like that is just rude). Truth be told oint wise I think your price is below what the oints would cost, so something is not adding up for me that is all.
The post specifically says OBO (Or best offer) in it, this is an open invitation to haggle with me over the price, I love to haggle, it pisses me off when people don't haggle, pisses me off even more when I try to haggle and get spit on for it.

I find it amazing that a player as wealthy as you are dislikes haggling and I am sorry to hear that, it's always been an amusing part of games like these to haggle with people, sometimes it can be frustrating though, so its give and take for sure.

In the end it has nothing to do with the nobles, it simple comes down to would I like them sure but the fact is I will never use them so 10 mil is a bit big to spend on something that is going to sit in a chest. Maybe 9 would of sit better after hunting and had the gold in my backpack and figured, no real lose for me then again, maybe you would of made a case for 10 mil and still in the same mood. All I know is they have been up for sale for a while and was just testing the water.
Big items like these that aren't in high demand take time to move, same goes for my bracelet, i know it would take a hard core player to appreciate the value of that bracelet, so i don't mind letting it sit in my bank until one comes along to buy it.

you are right though, at right around 700 ointment per noble(plus reagents, wax for cold resist is a bitch), with three breeds left over, 10 million is less than the value they are worth, even by todays oint prices. When you add in the fact that I ointed them up to the stats they are when ointments were worth 10k each, you realize just how much money i am throwing away by selling them for 10 million gold, but I understand that asking for more simply wont happen, i realized this early on when I started thinking about selling them.

A brand new noble, freshly tamed at generation one sells for between 350 and 500k per breed, so thats 1.5 million in breeds, and nearly 17 million in ointments(34m by the old pre exex prices), another 5 million in reagents (Rough estimate) to fuse with the oints.

Nothings missing Nelapsi, I am just well aware that I will not get any where near what I put into them back thanks for market fluctuations and low demand, I knew that dumping this much money into them was a risk when I did it, I wanted the ultimate pack of nobles, so i created them, now they get no use, so i'm cashing in how ever I can.

Okay, so I think I better understand why these are so exceptional now, but let me just make sure I get it - I'm asking because I've got a few million saved up that I was going to use on imprisoned pets, but I've been thinking about these instead.

So basically what you're selling are 5 nobles that you went out, tamed, and didn't breed at all, because breeding would have put the much-lower caps on their STR and damage ranges. And by bringing their HP and resistances up via ointing instead of breeding, they keep their higher than normal damage range (which any noble that is not breeded has, after being tamed).

Is this right?

No, that is not right at all.

I actually bought these from other players for 500k per breed, when I got them each one came with 1-3 breeds, i have since done a lot of breeding and have many baby nobles with max stats at low generation running around my house that i will sell eventually as well.

Breeding has no effect on the parents except that it reduces the amount of times it can breed by one (In the case of success, in the case of failure it locks the parent for 12 hours)

there are no other effects

These generation one nobles are anomalies, their base damage is off the charts for -any- creature, combined with their attack speed makes them comparable, if not better than a pack of imprisoned pets. The reason more people do not use "ultimate nobles" as I like to refer to these as, is because of the cost and rareity, and most people simply do not know that they are possible to create.

What I did, specifically, was bought a mess of generation 1 nobles, then ointed them up to max resists and max hit points, then started breeding them, then I used them offensively in hunting, you should see how fast they obliterate balrons, its really funny, considering imp squirrels and ferrets are weak to balrons, but balrons are weak to nobles.

It was a lot of fun running around with a pack of animals that had the strength of maxed imps and the speed of nobles, its a good thing that they do suffer stat loss or they would be even more powerful than imp pets.

But after awhile i decided i was done breeding and I have not actually used a pet to kill anything in like two months, I stopped even carrying them around, I simply have no need for them any more, they sit in my bank, when i came back to the game in january i bought a pack of imps because i had sold my previous set before leaving previously, i had intended on ointing them a little and using them just for ice wyrm and paroxy, but i did not hunt that prey often enough to justify needing them, eventualy i came to the same conclusion about my nobles, i can't kill things as fast as they can with my bow, but the speed at which i do kill things is proportionately justifiable to the amount of annoyance i experience by relying on them, so after i realized they're simply nothing more than a convenience in 99.9% of cases, i decided to stop carrying them.

I held onto them for so long because they were sentimental, it took me a long time to make them, i had to go through things some pet owners (speaking mostly, specifically of imprisoned pets) never do to make them.

Besides, they're the most powerful pack of nobles on the shard, i enjoyed having that.

But now I just want money, and liquidating assets i have no need for is part of that.
