Unlikely Request

So I accidently dropped my cloak of mist into a corpse and claimed lol, and I figured it would be better to get a relayer than to pay and wait for a recovery. Would anyone happen to have a cloak slot relayer on the cheap and I mean cheap pm me in game I know this is a long shot ty.

I cannot seem to be able to drop anything into a corpse. Did you try looking for it in [mystuff?

Cheaper by 5x to get your cloak recovered by staff than to buy a relayer, also
you can then do the normal kilt and shirt relayer first.

You can also bless it with a cheap clothing bless deed if I am not mistaken.

Also, if it is lost and you want a replacement, in previous years on the christmas quest there has been an account bound cloak called mantle of frost, which has the same stats as the mistvale cloak, but a slightly different (I think better) graphic.

The quest itself is tough, but I managed it for the first time with no relayers, but I did have 220 dex and full resists, although healing is diminished so you can't insta heal in this dungeon if I remember correctly.

Previously there was also a cloak that gave you a big stat boost from a daily christmas quest (but decayed after a few hours or something), the idea being that it helped people with the tougher quests. I think you should be able to manage it comfortably with decent equips but no relayers.

BUT you can fail the quest, so you need to be careful at each stage not to turn items in until you're ready to fight the boss, as the keys have a 30 minute decay on them once you get them from the quest giver.

I checked [mystuff and it is not there If I recall I cant get things into corpses either but it just vanished lol. My reasoning to just save for a relayer is i am still at over 220 dex and paying 100 eds is taking 100 eds away from a relayer. I will try a ticket I guess but I will not keep my hopes up. The cloak of mist was insured.(correction) I did bless it come to think about it.

That is a tricky one then, maybe it went onto the floor somehow, as you can drop blessed items onto the floor.

If you still have 220 dex and you want to tave for your first relayer, I'd recommend that you do kilt or shirt slot first, as there are no stat bearing items that currently fit into those slots, so they're always the first choice to relayer. If you can pick up the mantle of frost on the xmas quest that will serve you well for a long time in the cloak slot.

If you don't have any Gem of Completion pieces yet, I'd recommend the armour from that quest too as it has great stats and even if you're buying it, it is significantly cheaper thatn a relayer.

There are shirts with stats. The warp-weft shirt from tailoring gives 8 Str and up to 12 hp. Besides that, what you said is correct.

Ah yes, I forgot about that shirt, thanks for the correction. I've been collecting bods for a long time across all the characters on my account and I've yet to get the right bods to get that reward!

100 ed for that cloak is worth it. the only thing missing from the mistvale cloak is reflect physical damage so you decide if that is worth the cost of a relayer.get your request for a recovery in before its too late and also be prepared for a wait it can take months sometimes if you are unlucky.
look around at peoples paper dolls and you will see that most uber geared players did not replace their mistvale cloak with a relayer.

Replied to ticket. Yes, although dragging items into corpses is disabled, sub-containers weren't detected by the code. I have just upgraded that, and I'm classifying this as a bug since it working as intended (free refund).
