tested the orc slayer cutlass on a few things due to this responce here is what i found
when fighting orcs this weapon does 2x damage vs a non orc slayer cutlass
when fighting a personal trainer it does the exact same damage
when fighting an ettin it does the exact same damage.
only thing i did was change the cutlass in my hand for one i had with lower stats on it
orc slayer does not deplete the damage ability of the weapon vs things non orc u just dont get the bonus for those things
thank you krystol for giving me a reason to look into this issue

I think the issue with the cutlass isn't that it does less damage, it's that you take more damage from the opposing slayer group.
Although I am not sure if that is actually implemented

just tested that on earth elementals and ettins there was not a difference in damage i took either. i have all 70 resists no matter which cutlass i was holding so the only variable was the weapons orc slayer or non orc slayer. another myth about slayer weapons on this shard
