I've been thinking about upgrading to Imps but something confuses me. Right now I'm using Nobles and they all have around 1100 hps. I know Imps are supposed to be better but how can that be when they only have hps in the hundreds?

I don't mean to derail, would just like more info. before I spend all that cash.

I may be wrong but i believe imps have 200% damage not including the pack instinct ie squirrels have 100% physical AND 100% poison damage. Plus there is no permanent stat loss for imps. My imps only have 500 HP and they dominate as good or better than my nobles did.

All pets can have hit points of 1100. Take a look at Ex UO Wiki under "Ointments". You are able to upgrade that 200 hp imp to 1100 Health, also dex, stanima and AR can be improved.

You might also consider applying Pet Power Scrolls to improve the imp pets skill from 100 to 130.
