What in the world are Voting Waffles

I have been asking around and I haven't gotten an answer.. But I generally ask when its like the witching hour for Excelsior... Anyways I acquired a food type item (I Have not eaten them) Called Voting waffles. Can anyone help me with this?

gms like to randomly give out food with all kinds of names.
you can eat em or collect em.

Yep. Essentially just a collectible. Nothing special about them aside from being unique house deco.
