uninstall issue
I have downloaded and installed the already patched client from bittorrent, from your home page. it will not uninstall. how [removed] do I get this thing off my computer?

Well basically the game doesn't exactly install, not in the manner where you could remove it using the Add/remove programs on your control panel.
The installer unpacks the files to the folder you specified at the time of the unpacking. By default it should be C:\program files, or you can just search your computer for the folder named "Excelsior freeshard".
The installer (self-extracting exe) also creates 2 shortcuts. One in your start menu, and one on your desktop.
So once you delete the game folder, plus the two shortcuts, it will be as if you have never "installed" it.
