The Bone Daemon

Last night some of my guild mates and i summoned the bone daemon from Victoria and after we finished him off we never got the gold skull from killing him...I put in a page and Osiris came to try to help with no luck after searching mine and everyones backpacks to see where the skull could of gone...Well anyhow i logged on this morning to go do some other quest and come to find out i still have the bone daemon quest on my quest log saying it hasnt been completed...Does anyone know if this is bugged or what, and any idea to what i should do, i tried to put in a page this morning and got told no 1 was available to help which i understand that even the gm's dont stay in game 24/7...Thanks.

The quest work's just fine, right after you guys left i found someone to help me out and completed it without any trouble and got a skull, so i guess there was a bug!

Better luck next time, mayby a higher ranking staff member will be able to help after all.

Well we can all jump on the bug bandwagen, but normally 9 times out of 10 it isn't the case, It is normally down to a mistake by the player somewhere.

I'm not ruling out anything here, Nor am I saying it is someones fault, But there is a lot of things that could have happened in situations like this, But I am sure there will be an answer for you sooner rather than later.

Well when i cancelled the quest this morning because it was still showing that it wasnt completed i got my bones back so it kinda sounds like its a bug maybe, but anyhow thanks for all of your help Osiris

Did you double click the body. Sometimes players will miss this. I have done it multiple times.

After The Bone Demon has been killed, The person that accepted the quest, and turned in the daemon bones, must open the corpse manually to have the golden skull appear in their pack. If ANYone else claims it before the quester opens the corpse, including the quester, you will not be awarded the skull.
