I know I'm new here, But I played EAUO for the first 4 years of it's creation and ran one of the largest guilds for 1 year of that time. Does someone here host the software on their own personal server or do you pay for an online hosting server? Reason why I'm asking is that I'm a Domain/Website/Server Host and also have a business class server at my house on fibre optics (30mbps up and down). Have you ever thought about cloning servers to continue services when one crashes or even do load balancing if the main server is taking too much load from occupants. Just a thought. Btw, I really like the shard, it's one of the best free shards I have ever played on. Thanks.

it's sad the server is down.. Unsure if it crashed or the GM's are trying to fix something. Anyone have any ideal how long pets will stay before going wild? I hope we (pets and char) made it to my house before everything went down.
It would be really great if some type of information was CURRENTLY posted so, we player have some ideal what is going on.

Ok, working on it, but i think this might take another half an hour or even more. It's an issue in the physical server, not the software.

Sevica, I'll take a look at your bees during the day. I know there's a help request related to bee timings, in case it's not yours i recommend you send a page so it doesn't get forgotten.

Daddyo, yes we have a dedicated server rented in a datacenter. I've thought of cloning it, but since it's a custom application, it would be hard to do.
