Apparently they're not doing a good job, since the disconnects still happen. :/

EDIT: At about 6pm shard time on 4th September there was like a wave of those disconnects.

If it doesn't come back up soon some of us might have to do something out of the ordinary and unthinkable like read a book, talk to a family member or get some fresh air by taking a walk. :lol:
