If you are like me (let's pray you really aren't), I am sure you have come across some pretty decent weapons either dropped or crafted that looked really good at first until that dreaded Dispel property raised its ugly head. So, you end up throwing away what could have been a useful weapon or maybe even use it knowing that part of it won't help you. I propose that our gifted scripting staff develop some mob(s) that summon many pretty nasty creatures with big pointy teeth that need to be dispelled quickly or dire consequences may result. Examples like way above average Daemons and Elementals or worse yet, Acid elemntals and Blade Spirits (armor killers) come to mind. If the Dark Father or the Black Lich Lord can summon forth creatures to help them, then this type of mob shouldn't be an issue. Just got to make sure that the most effective way to dispatch these summoned assistants would be via a dispel spell or hit dispel from your new favorite weapon.
If we had something like this, then I (we) wouldn't be trashing 4 x 48 crafted warhammers or yumis cause one of those properties was dispel.
By the way, actually, if you all were like me, then this world would be a much better place, just a little nutty perhaps.
Or, I'd prefer a Deed from the ED stone, turning the Hit Dispell Property to another property of your choice. To keep it realistic, choices should be limited to what "could" have come naturally. Example, if you already have a Hit Lightning, then you can't add Hit Fireball because that wouldn't occur naturally. Maybe for 200ED?
Probably too much work to script, but an idea anyways.

For 200 eds, yeah I think you should have the right to choose..lol Though a dangerous area we are entering that you can select a property. The part that makes me cry is the number of weapons I have tossed because of dispel

I and a few others have already gone down that road with that similar suggestion and I think it was pretty much DOA, file 13'd, put in the circular file, etc.
Maybe not directly select property, but change into a random one (not dispel ofc). There would be a risk of not getting something you really want (or getting a hit area which sometimes is more of a hindrance than help), but still - new property, probably with a high percentage. Keep the price fairly balanced (not too cheap) so that only the truly best weapons would be worth the risk. 100ED seems like a good number.
