A Change To The Bod Books

Post by +Zandor »

We need to know what you think. I have an idea to add an option to the books to Possiably let you add tames with out taking the deeds out of the book.

1. Is this something that you think we could use
2. Is this something that is far out cool. but not needed

let us here what you think or if you have an alternate idea :D
What will you do without freedom......

Players oppinions matter, ofcourse :) Well the thing is that, altho this is easy, it takes some time, so if it's something that would really save alot of work for you all, I will put it on my todo list, but if you mostly tame a specific animal while having a certain BOD out, hence not such an annoyance, i wouldnt put it on my todo list.

Bod Book Change

Post by Rote »

Well, I know it would be ultra-convenient... Carry all the small taming deeds with you, and then take the book home after a long time out in the wilderness and put them all together with the large bods....

would be hell on wheels to code properly.

if you have 3 deeds for hellcats, 10, 15 and 20.and you tame a hellcat, to what deed should it be added ? it would be too much of a hassle to keep a 'default deed' for every species of animal.

maybe 'last entered' ?

When i was talking about this with Zandor he already had a solution - there would be a blue gem that you'd have to click to activate that specific bod. A bit more coding, but that's pretty useful.

Then i just need to make it so that if you drop that bod book over an animal, and the animal has been tamed for less than 1 minute (to prevent adding your good pets to the bod in case you just want to put it in it's pack), the animal would be added to the bod.

Well i see it would be pretty useful, i'm going to add it to my todo list. No idea when it will be available, but whoever plans to stick around for a long time, i think you will see it in action :)
