Working on scripting projects

Please read carefully:

1. If you want to script, get a non-assigned scripting idea from the Approved forum (or from the main forum, if the topic is marked approved, but hasn't been moved to the subforum yet).

2. Reply to that topic, so that you indicate you are working on it. If you don't reply in 3 weeks, someone else can take it (3 weeks of no updates gives a message that you've abandoned it).

3. If you have trouble with anything, feel free to post a request for help. Hopefully someone will come by shortly and post a response to your problem.

4. Once the script is Finished AND WELL TESTED post it and i will review and put it in.

This is because I might be working on some scripts as well, an if you then submit a script taken from distro with your changes, that means I'll have to merge it. Which is again more work.

Please TAKE ONE PROJECT AND FINISH IT; THEN MOVE TO THE NEXT.
If you're doing well you can later on start working on multiple projects at a time.
