ReBoot

I am not sure where to put this, so will put it here.
After the last two crashes, i have noticed a WONDERFULL lack of Lag. I was just wondering if you'd considered a weekly reboot??

I'm going to assume that the reason is because there's a lot less clients online after a crash.

lol, no, not hardly. it will run nearly lag free for several days now, it cleans up the memory, and all the lost items etc etc. I used to Reboot Honor once a week for this same reason. when it started to get laggy they all (the players) started yelling for a reboot. It was not something I had thought of, until the first crash, and afterwords, for about a week it was very lag free, and now, after this crash, i am again playing lag free, hence, my suggestion for a reboot once a week. this will most likely also stop the crash after 20 to 30 days if it is mem related.
Again, as are all my similar suggestion posts. I only put forward my ideas, or things that I know helped me in the past, it is not meant to anger, upset or disturb, instead it is merely for consideration.

If it will stop the lag I'm 100% for it. :)

I've had similiar issues with gaming systems that I leave running for days on end. Rebooting clears the temporary cache files, RAM, processor, as well as gives the system a moment to relax, aleviating the heat strain if even for a moment. Now, I'm not sure if the server is hosted locally or not, but if it is privately owned it's not a bad idea to drop the server for 20-30 seconds once every week or two (whenver is slowest).

when I helped run a shard not to long ago I'd do a shard reboot for updates weekly, normally around 2-3am cdt when most of our players were absent. It seemed to help some, although we didn't have 50+ players online at all times.

If your wondering on item count it might be wise to use an internal cleaner to clear up all the junk that mobs trash on decay that floats in the void.
