Chance to creature to become Paragon in ilsh is 5% but it looks a bit lower. My suggestion is increasing it to 10%, It takes a lot time to find paragon in ilsh and when you did it, it is sewer rat... :? I think 10% should be enough because more could make artificats boom...
What do you think?

i checked, yep it's exactly 5% right now. I think that's the OSI standard, but i wouldnt mind myself it was 10%...

can anyone else give support on this? to make creatures 10% to be paragon.

The OSI standard is a 1-20 (5%) chance of a spawn being a Paragon

I don't think increasing the chance of a paragon is going to make any difference. I have no real problem finding a paragon. In fact the problem is the drops...I have killed so many paragons its unreal, and all they have dropped for me is a 'Philips wooden steed'. And I got that off a paragon Arcane Demon.

I'd look at the chance to drop rather than the chance to spawn

No we should leave the dropping chance like it is for now , since we are less player , this will make think too easy to get. Like imagine if anyone have a invul shield , or other stuff like that. I just found a chest the other day after 4 paragorn , the drop chance is enough hum i think.

i think there should be a 0.5% chance of spawning a pair-o-goon.
what is a pair-o-goon you say? well its TWO paragons that both attack you and have a guaranteed arti if you kill them.

Wouldn't a pair-o-goons mean a Paragon with bodyguards?
Ooooo...That would be fun.... A paragon with 2 minions that have the 'All guard' command set....
That would mean that you would need a team to take it down.... Or damn good tactics (Or a whimy paragon)

Less people means raise.....
More people means lower.....
The idea is to level the chances.....

hehe you want 2 paragons?:P there are 5 paragon ancient wyrms in one spot in destard in felluca =D hehe good for dying :) about chance i think it is good enough.... you just need to kill right paragons. chance is based on monster fame and your luck (your rl luck too). the higher fame the better is chance to drop artie. Well it can stay for me at 5% it will just take me longer to get few arties =P so far i just got iolo's lute :(

First of all I have to say Old post is Old, I know this.

My thoughts on this, even though I'm not sure I've seen any changes in how mobs spawn in Ilish on my journeys, nor am I sure if this ever hit production. I believe paragon spawn rate increase to 10% is nice, 15% would make things lively and 20% would almost suicide without pets.

Paragon chest / artie drop rate is defined by its karma x your luck / 4 I think.

If your after para drops best shot is Para Balrons, if its still stock drop rate it should be a 1 in 6 chance in a 1200+ luck suit.
Anything over 1200 luck is ignored for para drop rate and over 3999 resets the luck counter on them. (Unless the drop script was modified) All the extra luck does is add bonuses to items and higher %'s of each property. Just some thoughts on this for inquiring minds.
