ive just found out that you cannot use a moving crate
to move all the stuff from one house to the next house..
for example. ive got a small keep... out under destard..
and its just getting way to small now. i mean ive got some really good deco ideas..
but i can move all that stuff.. it would take weeks.
and thats time that could be put into re decorating this castle..

idk. i just dont understand why you can use a moving crate
how do you feeel about this.. im sure im not the only one

I know those giant beetles can carry 1600 stones each and if you have a bunch of trustworthy friends here they may help you move. The moving crates as far as I know only seem to work with custom houses..I could be wrong though.

Oh dear, yup, This is the reason I have one house as my junk/storage house and my other houses as deco, because I change a lot it just means I don't have to move everything about again and again hehe.

I will offer to help you when I am able to get on.

ohh and and the even better side. a gm wont even help you find a suitable area to place a castle.
i mean ive litterally been running around for 4 hours. not 2 not even 3 but 4...
and i asked a gm to help me place a house. and go figure he couldent even help with that..
i swear.... arent GM's there to help players??

Since the GM's here will be to nice to say it. GM's are here to help players
With real issues that hinder game play. They are not here to be your
Personal real estate agent.

I would much rather they spend there time running events and adding
Content to the shard over making sure you have a cozy new house.

I'm just saying.

ohh no Zanther by all means i understand that server problems are more of an issue
and im not trying to be dissrespectful to the GM's either
i just dont understand how 15 minutes of their time would save me 7 hours
of trying to find a suitable area or any area for that matter.
do you have any idea how many vaccant lots a saw while running all over the server for 7 hours?
i easily saw over 50 just vaccant lots ( biggest comstom lot you can get too )
and a bunch of players housees that dont even play any more.. just sitting empty.. taking up space..

but i can eaisly think of one good awnser to this whole problem with over crowded areas..
bring back house drops.
or at least drop the houses that are just empty or that of players that no longer play..
idk im just kinda frustrated.. not trying to be snappy in any way

For your information, when accounts are inactive for 6 months(?) they get deleted, along with everything tied to that account, so it's not like the houses are piling up here.

Also, if they seem like there just placed and nothing done to them, step back and think, we are allowed two houses per account, so what does there other house look like if they have one... Maybe they even have more than two....

But to answer your question, why would staff have to help us look for a house spot... There are tons of places out there to place houses, the staff offer a service of placing our houses on terrains we can't, but going as far as finding the spot as well... that is just lazy, what is the rush? it's not like Excelsior is going anywhere :)
