Edit Claim

An Edit added to claim [editclaim, so we can add things we would like to pick up automaticly. I know it already does gold, arrows and bandages, but I would like to add things I always pick up also, Like Fungi Shrooms or Fertile dirt. Would make it alot faster looting for me anyways.

I'd like some input on this one:
The [claim thing currently collects:
gold
bandage
arrow
jewel
i added:
zoogi fungus
fertile dirt
What else should we make it loot?
I might suggest removing bandages (who uses them...).

When I'm actively playing I go through 1000+ banadges a week. They get used constantly. The only thing I actively search bodies for at this point is ointments.

Note: only the items listed in "[claim currently collects" are currently collected with the [claim command.
Zoogi fungus, fertile dirt, and all other that we come to think of: will be added once we restart the server with the new version.

I would agree with adding ointments to the claim list. Sometimes they get buried under other loot, and you might not find them unless you drag every single thing out of the way.
I can't think of any other items that would need claiming beyond those listed though. Nothing I can remember actively searching for anyhow...maybe champion skulls if we accidently claim the corpse before snagging it? Nah.

Note: autoloot of jewels (rings, necklaces, bracelets) doesn't actually work.
Fertile dirt, zoogi fungus, ointment: are now enabled and do get looted on the shard with the [claim command.

Would it be possible to have a command [claimall that would loot everything on the corpse. That way we could choose if we wanted just a few things, or everything to sort out later.
[claimall and [claim currently collects

Those would be two commands that would be very usefull. I tried "[claim currently collects" because Coli quoted it, doesn't work (Maybe is an admin command?).

I know with the old grab system you had the [gr -t command where you could bring up a gump and target an item you wanted to claim and it put it to your [grab list so when you grabbed corpses it took those items as well.
I have to use claimall to get gems, but I hate grabbing the junk armor or scrolls.
Maybe set it up to claim gems (they be worth a pretty penny) and maybe misc things like reagents and what not.
I know xanthos put out a grab system using a loot bag, I'm sure you could modify it to remove the loot bag (or keep it since its not weightless) which comes with the config command ([gr -t).

Velius...you do realize that many of these posts you are bringing up are 1-2 years old, right?? I mean your suggestions are valid, but they might be in vain on topics this old.
Just didn't know if you noticed that detail or not.

I understood that it was an old topic, but it was something of value that could be added regardless of the age of the topic. If more options exist wouldn't it only be fair for people to know about them and for staff to ponder their use?
I was just making arguments on this topic to see if I could re-spur some interest in said script.

Works for me! Just didn't know if you were aware. And for the record, I totally agree.

Well it beat me just saying "Bump" and not being constructive with it
