LABYRINTH

Ok so im kind of annoyed right now. Me and Adin just spent the last hour and a half running around this lovely place called the labyrinth in search of items for the mage's inquisition quest. Now this dungeon is most likely the hardest in the game. there is only one resting point that I found in the entire place. So we battle through.. losing pets resing them.. I died.. we keep going.. everythings good.. first target Skorp warrior.. no drop. No problem lets keep going. Egyptski Dragon... no drop.. ok lets keep going. Pyre.. all 9 that i killed.. nothing. And finnaly Slaarion. Killed him and no horn of defeat. I guess what im saying is.. the low drop rates in bedlam and sanctuary are fine because we can hang around waiting for the respawn but there is no waiting around in Labyrinth.. I feel that on a trip through the entire dungeon I should of come out with at least one item for my box.
And on a side note.. Im stoked prism of light is back

but the ice wyrm should drop his spike 100% of the time for the effort needed to kill him =]

I agree on this. The drop rates should be increased at least slightly. I never get anything when i go there. Really farming the stuff is almost suicide, and i'm far from being a weak player.

It should be

Proceeding through the Labyrinth one time and having an item is not how it is intended to be set up. It is set up to be a challenge for even the most skilled of players. Time is meant to be a factor as well. It could take you 1 week to get everything you need from 1 dungeon. This is why the reward is so grande.
The Mage's Inquisition quest is also created to help players learn; to play more effectively. It gives you a reason to develop and think on a strategy level. When you master the art of overcoming these dungeons, you will truly be a skilled player.
Also, don't fall back on your pets to do it all. There is a time and place for everything.

Not using them is even bigger suicide, considering all the almost one-shot-killers in there. Seriously. Try to take on three sharks and two minotaur scouts ... which is exactly what will happen if you don't stealth through.
But i did not request the monsters to be weaker anyway, i'm fine with the difficulty, it's only the drop that concerns me.

Use pets all the time or do not, but I did create the area.
Therefore, I am simply lending a short word of advice.

I am very disappointed and it will not be tolerated on the forums just as it will not be tolerated in the game. We all have frustrating moments, but there is no need to make it personal. The forums are available for anyone to reply, unless the reply is against the rules whereas an appointed staff member will handle the post.
Also, no one needs to be concerned with who is on or is not on ones ignore list. This is also very counterproductive and rude, not to mention very much besides the point of this thread.
As for the ML Quest: As Colibri stated and I have stated, it is meant to be difficult to complete but very rewarding in the end. This will not change.
Your problem with the Grizzled bones is quite simply very bad luck. Also, you are not the only one going for this item, and the instance in which you were not killing the monster, others could have been and received the item. You will receive it eventually, but it does take time. Currently you seem to be killing him at all the wrong times, so let's hope your luck improves and you are able to reap your first reward rather sooner then later.

I am sorry for having been rude and counterproductive. I will pay more attention to what I write in the future. My problem was that Jill Muffet opened this thread complaining about the drop rates and the dungeon difficulty (labyrinth). Then when I shared my concern about the drop rate of grizzle and the 2200+ firebreaths from ice wyrm and paroxymus, he simply rejected all my argumentation saying the exact opposite of what he said in his original post. That and the fact that he pointed me out in a very rude manner in general chat concerning the pricing of my items on my vendor; I myself took his post as a personnal attack. I actually had to make hudge efforts to use an appropriate language when responding to his post.
Well I am happy to read that there is a chance that, someday, Monsterous Interrgrizzle drops his bones:-)

Fingers just got 2 things for you..
1. how old was my original post on this topic? I did it before i finished the quest for the first time. Ive since refined my tactics and think the quest is very well balanced,
2. Get over the price thing.. how long ago was that? =]

A little over one month.

If you said the truth: a little over a month ago (date of your first post) you had not completed the quest, since then you completed it twice and AFTER you bought one level 70 artie for 200ED. So i would evaluate that the price thing was active a few weeks ago.

I asked him to show, he showed me a mil check saying he sold both 500k. I call bs on that, but hey who knows...
10 more times since last post, no success. Even got a staffer who came to hug me(he asked if anyone needed something, I said i need a hug;-) and ask, "hey, you stay here all the time?". Well guess what, yes I camp there! And it is not because I enjoy the place... GAWD!
I wouldn't care grabbing 50 more keys for the quest. As I already mentionned, it is not a matter of how long it takes or how difficult it is, but i think that drop rate making it possible to be there 60+ times without a drop vs the same monster is just aggravating .
Colibri, could you test and confirm me 100% that there is no bug preventing the drop of the grizzled bones at the moment?
thanks.

Something strange crossed my mind after 12 Monsterous Interrgrizzle today. Ho, for thoses who are curious, im up to 2 full suits of grizzle armor, many spare pieces, and 2 etheral rides of grizzle mares, but still no traces of bones:-(
Ok here is what iI was thinking. When i first came ti UOEX, I had OSI's standard client and I couldn't see a thing in my bankbox, for example. Now, I downloaded my client on UOEX website one month and a half ago. Has there been any updates to the client since then? Can it be possible that I actually get grizzled bones but I don't see them brecause of the version of my client?
Well I have lost the count of how many Monsterous grizzle i have done. 50 would be a very very low minimum. I see no solution to my problem and I have 0 confidence of seeing the bones drop, even if I do it hundreds of time. Therefore, I would appreciate, if it is technically possible, that a staffer confirms that there is a drop rate (not the proper rate, but to confirm there is a possibility of a drop the way the server is set actually).
I don't like to feel that I am seen as a crybaby. I know that this shard is free and ran by cool people for the love of the game. Furthermore, all the staff is incredibly dedicated and competent.
Thanks
