Excelsior

I'd like to see Factions activated on this shard. I understand that it's a no PVP shard, and the factions include PVP; but if we limit it to a weekend event periodically, I don't think that would compromise the integrity of this shard. This would add a little spice to the game for those that have been here a long time. And it would be a lot of fun.

Eh, pvp is way too unbalanced here. If it's just for fun it's fine

I may have assumed too much. For those that didn't know, this would only affect those that are willing participants of the factions event -- just as is the case with any event -- and would be a team effort.

I agree maybe there could be a limit to the type of armor we could wear. The Faction robes could be altered by staff to give you good stats and bonus' and require you to wear the robe to be able to attack or be attacked after joining a faction. That would make rez killing impossible unless the person getting resurrected puts their robe on. No looting.

There are alot of new things being worked on at the moment but this could be a cool future event.

Awesome idea ! Specialy with robes. In addition you should be alowed to wear ONLY that robe witch ofcourse all of them would have same stats on them, maybe few difrent robes, so you are able to choose one, but balanced. That way everything would be balanced.
Dont have to be limited for weekends only as any guild can choose a faction and on top of that each single invidual within a guild can choose to wear a robe !

These faction events would be fun both ways (with special robes to level the playing field & with the armor and weapon the we worked long and hard to get). Perhaps both could be tried in different events. Playing the event with special robes has the benefits already mention above. Playing the event with your own armor allows veteran players to have the edge that they worked for and earned through time and effort. Since it would be a team effort, there will be no one-player domination. This also adds the excitment of not knowing what your opponent is capable of.

Of course -- only willing participants are affected.

For me -- Looting -- I don't think looting would be necessary either.

dosnt have to be... reset stats (make them equal between players) little bags with equal equipment for everyone and just fight... The only thing I would think should be left has an unbalacing factor should be skills. There could be some nice events done like this it would be loads of fun I m sure.
