Is there a possibility for changes in the current Chat system - for instance adding a Global Trade Channel where players could place their ads?
Presently it's quite a pain (at least for me and I'm pretty sure for a lot of other players too) to endure all the random chit-chat in the global channel while being mostly interested in ads. I believe having the option to turn global chat off and still be in touch with what people have to offer would be a really good feature.

i just wish people would use the in game chat room for things like trade, plus you only have to type in in once. kind of like an immediate forum market.

I'm actualy stunned and amazed that i've never noticed the "chat" button, and like anarchy said, all we need to do is start using it, the difference between that and what coli needs to do is nothing, we'll have to start using whatever new chat comes about eventualy, so why not start using the old one and save a code monkey some work

mines broken lolz, it lets me chat in there under an assumed name. I think its the first name I originally tried to get but was already taken. On second thought theres some peeps I would like to cuss out. Ignore this post!!!

first the screen can be resized, and so can the inner window can be resized. you can also create your own chat room. play around with it and spread the havoc.

Okay, I've been playing on EX for almost a year and I have never ever noticed the chat. Now I feel stupid. -.-

Arrow - remember the /whois function gives your 'real' in-game name. So no anonymity on chat.

it's been there for a very long time. sometimes if i have to explain something in greater detail; i'll use it.

With the addition of a " trade channel ", any more advertisements for buying or selling in the global chat should come with an automatic 30 min jail time. Obviously this would be a few weeks after implementation, and new players would be exempt cause they dont know right off the bat. Just an idea, run with it

Lets get [t before we come up with rules for it.

sorry big picture but this is how i play....also for some reason it cuts the picture unless you right click it then view picture.

chat box on top and guild/world chat on bottom
