I think raffle should be 1 ticket per account, so we all have an equal chance to win.

Raffles were put in place as a gold sink. Making them 1 ticket per account would defeat their entire purpose for existing.

You can win those with one ticket. I've won 3 with no more than 3 tickets on any of them. Just recently the sunglasses were won with just one ticket while I know at least one person spent 12 mil on them only to lose. If you don't like the limit you don't have to participate

Its all about statistics. The more you buy, the higher your chances to win. Even though exceptions exist when people purchase a few tickets and win, odds are 99 out of 100 times they will lose with only a few tickets purchased.

Seems silly to me. Granted I've never had much luck with RNG whether I've bought 1 or 1000 tickets, I'd never want to see single ticket handouts. Dont even think you could call it a raffle at that point.

No. Raffles are ..well raffles, one in a million. And +Nyx is awesome. Case closed

the raffle was made to balance the economy so making a limit would defeat the purpose of the raffle.

I posted a screenshot a couple months back where +Nyx won not one, but two raffles at the same time with the single ticket she had to purchase to get the raffle to kick off. It's very possible to win with a single ticket. Limiting everyone to a single ticket would mean that said ticket would have to be wicked expensive to compensate for the items they put on raffle. For example it would take 5,000 players buying a 10k ticket for the 1,000EDs that is being raffled before it would equal out, since we only have probably a tenth of that on the server, raffles would only contribute to the inflation problem. Buy one ticket, cross your fingers and maybe eventually you will win with that single ticket.

Truly said, the raffles are an easy way (seen economic) for the rich guys,
to get expensive items more easy.
Gold sink idea is ok, but offering another way to get richer in the same moment
is the wrong way.
Better to offer options like just things, which cant be traded and dont give advantages,
like just decos, colours etc, makes more sense.
Offering ED`s, special deeds etc. is clearly just nonsens.
And "normal" players think about just buying one ticket,
knowing others buy about 5k tickets and usually win anyway.
So, raffles are for a few ppl only.

lets put it this way.....i know 7 people in the past year at least to win raffles with 1 to 5 tickets,which is 10 to 50k. Just because a lot of us with more money are doing more to make more and putting more on it, doesnt mean you cannot win with less. same goes for the Auctions....i am not going to sit there when i have my millions in the game, get an item for 1 million, beacuse either A their guild members wont bid against them, or B. because noone else really knows the true value of an item, like the shield i won at last auction, i didn't need it, or did i extremely want it. but the last time a shield went was about 90 million i think loki forked out for a different shield, not going to sit back and let you win a shield for 1 milllion, just because your friends won't bid against you on it. so next time before you make your comments on the item...maybe you should see that people relly do win things with less, i know someone on the last sunglasses spent 12 million gold on them, i spent 1 ticket, and i won. not likely to happen, but it does happen, either way they are ONLY there to get people to SPEND their gold, not just to give a new player a good chance at winning something big. With that attitude, we might as well just not have any skill gains needed give u all at 120 when u start, make everyone have 17 titans hammers on the start, everyone have gocs, everyone have eds, that way you never have to work to earn one thing....So you kill one thing, and you get bored and leave. 007 373 5963 TYSON!

Why is this even being discussed. The raffle has the simple purpose of draining gold out of the economy since there is an endless supply of gold on the shard. Everyone has an equal chance of winning depending on the number of tickets purchased. To argue that raffles are for vets only is nonsense. This is necessary since there is an unlimited supply of gold on the shard. Want to buy more tickets? Then grind harder or craft more or complete more BODs. Remember we all started with nothing and worked our way up.

Also, if you only place less desirable items as you suggest then you are defeating the purpose of the raffle since thousands or even millions wont be spent on the raffle items since people dont want them as badly.

Also, to say that people are getting richer is wrong. One person wins and many lose. I am certain the value of the item is far below the total amount spent by all players for that item. This is exactly the idea of the raffle to drain gold. If the item is worth 10 million and 20 million was spent on raffle tickets, 10 million gold is right away drained from the shard. Mission accomplished.

Its true you can win without spending millions, i bought one ticket for the 1000 use enchanted pet leash and won it! Nice surprise when you open your bank and see something new that you weren't really expecting to win.
